Christmas Market supports local artists

Over the last 6 weeks Music in the City have provided the live entertainment for the Christmas lights switch on, with 5 acts performing on the night including a local schools choir and the Rock Choir, followed by live performances in the Moose Bar weekend lunchtimes and evenings - a further 28 performances in total, involving 67 local musicians.

A big thank you to SD Leisure and the Southampton Christmas Market for hosting us.

Musicians crave and need opportunities like this and on behalf of everyone who has played it’s a big thank you and a very Happy Christmas from us all to the team at the Southampton Christmas Market, thank you again for your support and buying local, it really is appreciated.
