400th Sign Up - local up and coming RnB artist MoniQ

We’ve hit 400! That’s 400 acts that have signed up to perform at Southampton’s Music in the City multi venue festival, taking place this year on Saturday 12th September 2026.

It’s clearly going to be a very BIG day.

And what a great way to hit this milestone with local RnB talent MoniQ https://www.instagram.com/moniqverse/ joining our lineup. She’s fast becoming one of the most exciting new sounds on the Southampton scene.

Born in Zimbabwe and raised in Southampton, MoniQ has spent the last year honing her craft and shaping an international sound that’s as punchy as it is irresistible. With appearances at other local festivals and a main support slot at O2 Islington performing her original music, MoniQ is going places, and we are delighted to have her perform with us.

Applications will be closing in June, and curation of the festival will then take place… where in Southampton will MoniQ be performing?
