We’ve launched a raffle with some fantastic prizes!

Music in the City multi venue music festival is powered by our team and volunteers, the passion of our performers and music lovers, our local host venues and Southampton's community spirit. Delivering this event at the scale it has now reached comes with significant costs to do safely and as professionally as we possibly can. We need your help please to keep our festival free and accessible to us all.

If everyone who attended last year’s festival purchased just one £5 raffle ticket, the entire cost of running Music in the City would be covered for this year.

1ST PRIZE: Two tickets for your choice of show at Southampton Summer Sessions in Guildhall Square 12th to 27th June. Choose from Amy Macdonald, Alex James' Britpop Classical, Pete Tong presents Ibiza Classics, The Beach Boys, OMD, Billie Ocean, Skunk Anansie & Garbage, Bowling for Soup & Frank Turner and Deacon Blue (excludes Paul Weller 20th June). Prize value up to £140, thanks to live music and event promoters Cuffe & Taylor.

2ND PRIZE: Two tickets to Let’s Rock: The Retro Festival at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday 6th June. 80's festival, hosted by Pat Sharp featuring Matt Goss, Kim Wilde, ABC, Sister Sledge, Heaven 17, Jason Donovan, T’Pau & Altered Images. Prize value £114, thanks to Southampton Football Club.

3RD PRIZE: Two tickets to Wanderlust Festival. Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May. Indie/alternative festival, where 50 acts including headliners Squid and The Horrors will perform across three of our top and much-loved Southampton venues: Heartbreakers, The Joiners and The 1865. Prize value £138, special thanks to Psych, Heartbreakers, The Joiners and The 1865.

4TH PRIZE: £100 voucher for the Mayflower Theatre. The largest theatre in the South offering magical evenings with the most spectacular touring musicals - many direct from the West End - plus opera, ballet, and some of the biggest names in popular music and comedy.

5TH PRIZE: Vinilo Record Store goodie bag. Vinilo Record Store is an independent record shop in Southampton with soul, built by music lovers for music lovers. Prize value £100.

6TH PRIZE: Two tickets for Julian Marley & The Uprising at The Engine Rooms on Sat 6th June. Julian Marley & The Uprising is a Grammy-nominated, roots-reggae act led by the son of Bob Marley, delivering a blend of traditional reggae with jazz, dancehall, and hip-hop influences. Backed by a young Jamaican band, they are known for their energetic and spiritual sound and performances.

Our raffle is generously supported by Cuffe & Taylor, Southampton Football Club, Psych and local music venues Heartbreakers, The Joiners, The 1865 and the Engine Rooms, along with the Mayflower Theatre and independent record store Vinilo. Big love to Southampton's fantastic music community, that we are proud to be a part of… everyone who’s supported us is very much appreciated.
